cover songs are kinda like rock versions of the mash up they can be very hit or miss
when done right they bring new meaning to an old classic or at least don’t screw it up
but usually there just awful there so many different kinds of awful covers but up until now
the ironic pop punk cover took the cake
i can tell you how many bands do this i guess they feel that its quirky cause it’s such a poppy song and there gonna punk it up when it really just stresses how interchangeable they are….. on that animal farm tip
i really thought this was the lowest of the low for covers nothing really shocks me anymore but then today it hit me like a gay brick
when i saw this went through a cycle of emotions first there was confusion, someone really thought it was a good idea to name there band after aLauren Weisberger novel????? followed by disgust ……… then rage ……. then a sick sense of intrigue i mean how bad could it be
